Primeval: The Movie

May 15th, 2009 Posted in ITV, News, Primeval | one comment

Primeval logoBig news for Primeval fans: the show looks set to hit the big screen!

Movie rights to the hit ITV programme have reportedly been bought by Warner Brothers in the US. The exact amount paid is unknown but apparently in the high six figures. The film is to be produced by Akiva Goldsman and Kerry Foster.

Of course this is only the first step towards seeing Primeval in the cinema – many projects get lost in “development hell”. Assuming it does eventually get made don’t expect any of the regular cast to appear – the story will, as always, be transplanted to the US.
