Hamlet: David Tennant Returns
Good news for David Tennant fans lucky enough to have tickets for the final few days of the Hamlet run at the London Novello: they might get to see the man himself in the title role.
The Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) reports that David has made good progress following his back operation for a slipped disc. He apparently feels strong enough to stand up to the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune and get back on stage. He was expected to perform last Saturday (3rd Jan).
There are no guarantees though. The RSC stresses that they will be assessing his position on a day by day basis. Obviously his health still comes first.
