Doctor Who: The Role-Playing Game

June 30th, 2009 Posted in BBC, Doctor Who, News | no comments

The time and space spanning Whoniverse has always been a perfect canvas for role playing games (RPGs) and (at least) two have been published: the FASA game in 1985 and Timelord from miniatures supplier Ian Marsh.

Both these games were, of course, firmly rooted in the classic Doctor Who era. Now there’s to be a new RPG for the new show: Doctor Who: Adventures in Time And Space. The new game will be published by Cubicle 7 who also publish SLA Industries, Victoriana and Starblazer Adventures.

At the moment all we know about Dr Who: ATS is that it’s due for release in October 2009. More information as I get it.
