Doctor Who Wins More Awards
Congratulations to all involved with Doctor Who on adding two more awards to the show’s bulging trophy cabinet. At the National TV Awards yesterday Dr Who once again won the Most Popular Drama award with outgoing star David Tennant winning Outstanding Drama Performance.
Tennant won the Outstanding Drama Performance award last year as well. Before that it was named Most Popular Actor with DT winning in 2007 and 2006. In 2005 it was won by the ninth Doctor, Christopher Eccleston. The show itself has also won Most Popular Drama five times.
So no pressure then on Steven Moffat and Matt Smith.
