Being Human Series Three

being-human3

Good news for fans of Being Human. With the blood still flowing on series two the BBC has announced that there will be a 3rd season.

The Toby Whithouse show has been recommissioned by BBC3 from Touchpaper Television. Actors Russell Tovey, Lenora Crichlow and Aidan Turner have been confirmed for series 3 which will consist of eight episodes.

There’s also a hint as to events at the end of the current second series: apparently series three will see the Being Human crew move from Bristol to Wales following “events in the dramatic climax of the second series”. Rob Pursey of Prodco Touchpaper Television says:

BBC Three continues to provide us with a great opportunity to make unusual, ambitious drama, and we are very excited to be able to take the new series of Being Human into fresh territory. With the new location in mind, we’ve already established some startling new storylines and characters. We’ll also aim to deliver plenty more exclusive online content in the gaps between series.

No date has yet been given for series three of Being Human but presumably it will be early 2011.
