Being Human and the CenSSA

censsa-logo

We don’t yet have an exact date for the broadcast of Being Human Series Two but it’s expected to be soon. Certainly the Beeb is getting the marketing fired up with the launch of CenSAA: the Centre for the Study of Supernatural Activity.

CenSAA collects and publishes research on supernaturals, particularly vampires, ghosts and werewolves (which CenSAA calls types I, II and III respectively). The site’s still new but there are some interesting pictures on there.

It is, of course, a Being Human minisite. Those who bother to click on the “More Information” link are told: “The website you have been looking at is entirely fictional and forms part of the Being Human universe.” CenSAA is pitched just right: it’s professional enough to be easy on the eye but amateur enough that it could really be the work of lone “enthusiast” Loyd who compares ghosts with orange squash.

I wonder how long it’ll be before the pics from CenSAA start appearing elsewhere on the web as genuine evidence of the supernatural.
