Hi, I’m Trevor Mendham and I’ve been a fan of SF etc all my life – I watched the first ever episode of Doctor Who from my high chair! I love all of this sort of thing, even if at times is it rather cheesy (let’s be honest, some of Blake’s Seven wasn’t exactly BAFTA material).

British genre TV went through a very bad patch after the cancellation of Doctor Who in 1989. It practically ceased to exist. Then, against the odds, Doctor Who was revived and proved a huge success. Since then it seems that everyone wants to make the next British SF or fantasy hit.

So this blog is a personal view of science fiction and fantasy on TV. Although it’s heavily biased towards British shows I’ll basically talk about anything that interests me. Please join in the discussion!
